a little history…

… as a kid i went through tons of 35mm cameras – disposables, cheap point & shoots, my parent’s old cameras.  at around 12, though, my dad gave me his nikkormat ftn – a purchase he made in college – and mind = blown. i learned how photography really works using that all manual slr (light meter aside, thankfully), a pocket intro guide by kodak (still have it), and plenty of trial and error (man film got pricey). i re-caught the bug while in law school and haven’t looked back.
